Abstract.

Science, especially psychology, is not so much an experimental and empirical enterprise as it is a consensus building community effort. No empirical experiment, no matter how crucial and simple, can have meaning without the broader context of a community's state of knowledge. E. G. Boring in his once famous History of Psychology used to discuss endlessly and, yes, boringly, his oppositional views of the Great Scientist versus the Zeitgeist as the progenitor of revolutions in thinking within the science. This Wiki has a place for both, but if it makes peer review, exchange of ideas, and communal spread of shared opinion easier and more fluent; and contributes to consensus about radically new ideas, it will begin to fulfill its purpose.
